Canada is famous for its diverse population. The Canadian society is made up of many cultures and background. What we see today is a country that was shaped this way after centuries. That is how every society is built up; it is develop gradually over time.

In Canada, the society has many aspects. The culture has many areas where it was developed from. In order to study Canada’s culture and society, one has to look at some top cultural activities that build the culture.
To begin with, let’s discuss Wedding. A wedding is an event where two individuals start their family. A wedding in Canada shows the love and respect people have towards each other. For example, if you go to any Canadian wedding, you will notice that from parents to close relatives, from Flower Girls Winnipeg to groom’s buddies; everybody is involved in organizing the wedding. There are always more organizers and volunteers than the guests.
This says a lot about the country’s culture when it comes to love, unity and brotherhood.
Another part of Canadian society is its tolerance and fraternity. If you look into the history closely, majority of Canadians are immigrants. Some came in recent years and some came hundreds of years ago. Because of this immigration and different backgrounds, this has created a love and respect towards each others culture. Now this is not the case everywhere else. In fact, in some parts of the world, this multiculturalism has created problems and has even resulted into wars. This is the beauty of Canada; this is why we love this country. It is for everyone. Canada has given opportunities to everyone who came here.
Economy is important and it would be foolish to not to discuss it. Economy also shapes a culture. In Canada, we are lucky to be in a very strong economic condition. Even the recent 2009’s recession in US were not able to do a lot of damage to Canadian economy and financial system. The banks are strong, the regulations are strict and Canadians are educated, these 3 main factors have played a very important role. Despite the fact that Canadian economy has a lot to with US, it was still able to manage it and be stable. This huge accomplishment was only possible due to its amazing strength.
The last but not the least is the politics. Just like the economy, Canadian politics has been stable, or at least not as unstable as other countries in the world. Canada had seen some political tensions and tough days but it was still not as bad as compare to other places. 3 main parties in Canada are Liberals, Conservations and NDPs. Despite their disagreements, they are very tolerant and loving. In hard times, all Canadians show unity despite of their differences.
